Senior Associate / Project Manager - Federal

      

    Position Overview:

    As a Senior Associate/Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing consulting services to Federal Clients. In this role you will be helping senior defense executives drive strategic planning, engagement, and thinking in support of large scale organizational change efforts. The ideal candidate must have a strong presentation skills and executive presence and experience working in communications and change management.

      

    Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrate excellence in project management, specifically proficiency in risk management, project control strategies, and contingency planning
    • Able to lead complex projects for one of the following reasons: 1) project is large with multiple resources/high fees; 2) project setting is a challenging client environment; or 3) project is a multi-component project with different tracks of delivery
    • Develop an expert level understanding of client’s business, including value chain, culture, and industry
    • Provide guidance in analyzing and solving client’s problems
    • Consistently and effectively communicate the value of the engagement to client sponsors, stakeholders, and firm
    • Effectively work through complex people, project, and client issues
    • Identify, shape, and pursue opportunities for follow-on or adjacent work within client space

      

    Qualifications: 

    • 7+ years consulting experience
    • Demonstrated team, project, or program leadership experience
    • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred
    • Secret Security clearance required
    • TS/SCI preferred
    • Prior DOD or military experience desired
    • PMP or DAWIA certification desired
    • Experience interacting with and advising Executive leadership
    • Previous experience in research, analysis, and conducting interviews
    • Experience in identifying client needs, initiating, owning, and developing client relationships, and growing business/expanding capabilities
    • Experience in change management, coaching, and training within large, dispersed organization
    • Experience in facilitation of small and large client meetings, senior executive off-sites, etc.
    • Ability to communicate complex and challenging business problem in easy to understand and relevant language
    • This role requires that you be on site in Quantico, VA
