John Avalos

Arcfield, Chief Growth Officer

John Avalos is a seasoned business executive with over 25 years of experience driving growth and innovation in government contracting. As the Chief Growth Officer of Arcfield, he leads cross-organizational business development for the systems engineering and integration firm. Previously, John held leadership roles at SOSi, Booz Allen Hamilton, and BAE Systems’ Intelligence and Security sector. A proud U.S. Army veteran, John conducted intelligence operations and supported national-level intelligence agencies during his eight-year service. Recognized as a top executive by WashingtonExec and a finalist for their Chief Officer Awards, John also serves on the International Spy Museum’s Board of Directors. His strategic focus, collaborative approach, and data-driven decision-making have made him a respected change agent in the industry.

Michele Bolos

NT Concepts, Inc., Founder

Michele Bolos, founder of NT Concepts, is a visionary leader who drives success through strategic development and diverse leadership. Her mantra of HEAT (Honesty, Empathy, Accountability, and Trust) inspires her team to deliver exceptional customer service while staying ahead of rapidly changing technology trends. With a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University, Ms. Bolos served as a system engineer and software developer before founding NT Concepts in 1998. As CEO, she led the company through industry shifts, maintaining steady growth and success. Recognized as the Executive of the Year for companies $75-300 million at the 2016 Greater Washington GovCon Awards, Ms. Bolos serves on various professional and non-profit boards. A proud tech entrepreneur and advocate for women in STEM, she supports the Children’s Science Center of Northern Virginia. Ms. Bolos resides in Oak Hill, Virginia, with her husband and two daughters.

Maury W. Bradsher

District Equity, Chairman and CEO

Maury W. Bradsher, Chairman and CEO of District Equity, is a seasoned corporate financier with over 20 years of experience in M&A, capital raising, and growth equity deals for technology companies worldwide. He has participated in various aspects of corporate finance, including due diligence, business valuation, structure, and negotiation. Prior to District Equity, Maury served as Managing Director at Ridgewood Technology Partners, where he led the company’s rebuilding and recapitalization efforts, transforming it into an award-winning government consultancy. He also founded Azimuth Business Solutions, a systems engineering and software development firm serving the USDA and DoS. Additionally, Maury is the majority owner of ASSETT Inc., specializing in corporate strategy, board operations, oversight, and contract negotiations in the cyber and intelligence sector. With his extensive experience and diverse roles, Maury has established himself as a trusted advisor to founders and executives in the technology industry.

Why Did You Join the Toffler Associates Advisory Board?

As a long-time fan of Toffler Associates, the opportunity to support the organization has always been high on my priority list. Toffler has a curiosity and an ability to look through multiple lenses to assess how the world and organizations work. I am immensely interested in their progress and being a part of what is sure to be a continued bright future.

Jenn Swindell

Trusted Solutions Group, Senior Vice President and General Manager

Jenn Swindell, a retired Senior Vice President and General Manager at Perspecta, led the $400M Trusted Solutions Group and guided corporate transformational priorities. Her recommendations resulted in the creation of the company’s first cross-functional business unit focused on security solutions for the US government. Prior to Perspecta, Jennifer spent 19 years at Booz Allen Hamilton, rising to Senior Vice President and leading various business units, including the Defense team’s Asia Pacific strategy, a $200M Navy & Marine Corps Market P&L, and a turnaround of key Civil market business lines. She was a notable DE&I and Risk Management leader, creating award-winning training programs and initiatives. Before Booz Allen, Jennifer held corporate roles transforming organizations and began her career as a Special Operations Officer in the US Navy. She earned her MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and her BA in Economics from Wesleyan University, where she was a multi-sport athlete and National Merit Scholar.

Loretta A. Penn

In Memoriam

Founder and President of PECC, LLC, an executive coaching and consulting company, President of Spherion Staffing Services, and IBM executive manager, Loretta Penn served on Toffler Associates’ Advisory Board until her death on February 27, 2024. We will miss her insight but are a better compnay for the wisdom she so generously shared with us.
