As CEO of Toffler Associates, Deborah brings skills and insights honed over 30 years working with some of the top minds and leaders of governments and Fortune 100 companies. She was recruited by Alvin Toffler early in the company’s history, while working with the firm as Deputy Director, Developmental Planning for the U.S. Air Force. In this civilian role, Deborah helped connect global dots signifying future risks, and architected plans to meet those threats.
Deborah has an MBA from Webster University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Mexico, and has completed extensive continuing education with Harvard Business School and Wharton Business School. She is also a member of the Air Force Studies Board, National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. Deborah is a sought-after speaker for events focusing on the future of space, the future threats and opportunity landscape, and organizational transformation.

Maria is an energetic and insightful executive who brings dedication and know-how to help organizations define business strategy, lead high performing teams, grow new markets, and create measurable results.
As COO, she taps into deep experience with strategy development and execution, customer experience, business performance management, acquisition integration, and organizational transformation. Before joining Toffler Associates, Maria was a managing director at North Highland, overseeing media, entertainment, and communications industry. As the division president, she led the Data Analytics and Sparks Grove groups and directly contributed to the profitability and growth of the businesses. She was the executive advisor to the Managing Services division during its U.S. expansion and led the development of the Washington office. Her prior experience includes management consulting with Arthur Andersen Business Consulting and Ernst & Young, as well as roles at AllConnect and Litton Poly Scientific.
Maria earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research as well as an MBA from Virginia Tech, and serves as an advisory board member for the ISE department. She holds a certificate of cuisine from Le Cordon Bleu Paris and actively volunteers to cook healthy meals for the homeless and hungry in the Washington area where she resides with her family.
Dave is trusted by senior leaders for his approach to managing transformational change through strategic foresight, design, and risk management. He brings a future-focused approach to develop an understanding of the key drivers that will impact organizations. In addition to uncovering key drivers that will impact organizations, he builds stakeholder consensus for the strategic efforts necessary to produce lasting value. Dave has completed combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, and is a Battalion Executive Officer in the Army National Guard. He earned a B.A. in Economics and Business from Virginia Military Institute and completed the U.S. Army Intermediate Leaders Education at the Command and General Staff College.

Eric helps senior leaders and engagement teams in commercial and government organizations to re-imagine how they collaborate, innovate, and create sustainable value in highly competitive, high-risk markets. Eric came to Toffler Associates from Booz Allen Hamilton. He holds a B.A. from Princeton University, an M.S. in Business Administration and Management from Boston University, and an M.A. in Security Studies from Georgetown University. In 2014, he was named a National Security Fellow at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies.
Hans specializes in strategic planning, risk management, resource management, and innovation policy. He helps organizations strengthen their ability to manage enterprise risk. Prior to joining Toffler Associates, Hans worked at SAIC, supporting arms control and complex operations initiatives for the Department of Defense. He has served as a Congressional staff member, worked with the Department of State, and was a Robert Bosch Foundation Fellow in Germany. Hans earned a B.A. with honors in History from Williams College and an M.A. in International Relations and International Economics from Johns Hopkins University.

Caitlin’s expertise in critical infrastructure security and resilience, including cybersecurity, makes her a uniquely valuable asset to clients navigating the complex operational challenges posed by our increasingly interconnected and interdependent global economy. Over the course of nearly two decades of developing physical and cyber risk management approaches, she has successfully advanced public-private partnerships that drive thought leadership, influence policy, and evolve industry practices to manage security and operational risks.
Prior to joining Toffler Associates, Caitlin served as Assistant Secretary for Infrastructure Protection with the Department of Homeland Security under President Obama. She led the mission to protect critical infrastructure and redefined public-private risk management for emerging issues like complex mass attacks, electric grid security, cybersecurity, GPS resilience, and climate adaptation planning. Her experience also includes leading homeland security projects with several government agencies while at Booz Allen Hamilton and pioneering early warning cyber intelligence at iDefense (acquired by Verisign).
Caitlin earned a B.A. in public policy studies from the Terry Sanford Institute of Public Policy at Duke University and a certificate in business strategy from The Aspen Institute.
Aaron brings more than 25 years of experience and insight into how global forces of change like emerging technologies, societal shifts, geopolitical influences, and environmental conditions shape opportunities and challenges for organizations. He advises executives on the design and implementation of their organizational transformations. His clients include the Department of Defense, the intelligence community, civilian government agencies, and commercial sector clients. Aaron holds a B.A. from The American University and an M.A. from Harvard University. He also has completed executive education at The Wharton School and the Kellogg School of Management.
